Supporting documents
Applications include the completion and/or submission via the electronic platform of the Technical University of Crete of the following supporting documents:
A detailed CV.
Official copy of diploma or degree (except for final year students).
A certified transcript of records. For final year students, the following must be explicitly stated by the School/Department Secretariat: a) the courses remaining for obtaining the degree, b) the provisional degree grade based on the courses already secured and c) the weighting factor of the thesis in the final grade (if a thesis is planned).
Certificates of professional experience.
Copies of scientific publications, other academic qualifications other than the first degree, certificates of participation in research programs and scholarships/distinctions (IKY scholarships, excellence awards, awards from scientific bodies, etc.) (if any).
At least two letters of recommendation, preferably from faculty members.
Proof of B2 level of good knowledge of English and/or other languages (article 1 of Presidential Decree 146/2007). In case of failure to provide proof, the assessment of language proficiency will be carried out through a procedure to be determined by the Greek Language Council.
Foreign candidates must certify their knowledge of Greek by submitting the Certificates of Proficiency and Certificate of Knowledge of Greek as prescribed by law.
Photocopy of ID card or passport.
